Boycott political parties favoring abrogation of Articles 370, 35A: Shah Faisal

President of Jammu and Kashmir’s Peoples Movement Shah Faesal on Sunday said that people should “socially boycott” the political parties that favor abrogation Articles 370 and 35-A.

Shah Faesal while addressing a public outreach program organised by People’s United Front (PUF) here in north Kashmir said, “Jammu and Kashmir has an existential threat at this time as special status of the state is under threat. People should stand up against the parties who are talking about scrapping the special status of the state. People should go for a social boycott against these parties that are fighting a political battle to harm J&K’s identity.”

He urged people to get united and support PUF to safeguard and prevent any assault against the special status of the state.

Faesal said that as long as people don’t want a change, the situation will remain the same. “To bring a change and give people relief we have formed Peoples United Front and it will play an important role in next government formation in the state,” he said.

Faesal said that the PUF would emerge as neat and clean political alternative which will come true to the expectations of masses.

President of the Awami Ithad Party Er Rasheed while addressing the gathering accused the National Conference leaders Dr Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah of “signing the death warrants of Maqbool Bhat and Muhammad Afzal Guru respectively and selling out aspirations of people of the state.”

He urged the people to make PUF strong in order to seek resolution of Kashmir issue. “Our party will play a major role in changing the political scenario of the state,” he added.

The gathering was also addressed by patron JK Peoples Movement Javid Mustafa Mir.
